Great new video out from the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Tourism. In this video, The Torngat Mountains National Park is featured prominently. I’ve never been to the Torngat Mountains park but this simply looks spectacular.

I had the opportunity to hike the Man In The Mountain trail yesterday. The trail, which is part of the International Appalachian Trail of Newfoundland and overlooks the Humber River, was an amazing hike.

We had the chance to go to Blomidon Brook yesterday with a group of friends. We walked into the swimming hole from the parking lot on route 450 – this took about 30 minutes.

Spaztickolon posted a great video on YouTube about a vacation to Newfoundland. The ten day tour of Newfoundland covered 3,500 kilometers (2,200 miles). There are lots of great pictures in this video. Spaztickolon says they want to live in Newfoundland one day and that Newfoundland is “the greatest place on earth.”

Recently an Ontario couple traveled through Corner Brook while visiting Newfoundland. They seemed to love the trip to Newfoundland but had some critial words for the city of Corner Brook saying, “we wouldn’t recommend Corner Brook as a tourist destination. “
