On Friday, I had the opportunity to golf on the River Course the Humber Valley Resort. The course is in great shape. My score was brutal but I really enjoyed myself a great deal. Golf with an awesome friend in the fall in the Humber Valley – what could be better?

Had a great time at Margaret Bowater Park tonight. We got caught in a rain shower. It was warm and beautiful. Within minutes of the shower, we were the only ones left in the park. The park and the Corner Brook stream walking trails are really very nice.

Last week there was a fire in Halifax around the Herring Cove Road and Purcells Cove Road area. It was a monster blaze. At one point, I believe the fire was two miles by ten miles in area. Here is an amazing picture of the fire. I’m not sure who took this picture. A friend [...]
