Cobb Lane is a beautiful street in the central downtown area of Corner Brook. Cobb Lane gets it’s name from Andrew R. Cobb, a Canadian-American architect who was born in Brooklyn, New York and spent a large part of his life in Nova Scotia.

On Friday, I had the opportunity to golf on the River Course the Humber Valley Resort. The course is in great shape. My score was brutal but I really enjoyed myself a great deal. Golf with an awesome friend in the fall in the Humber Valley – what could be better?

Yesterday, Gary Oke did an interview on the local CBC radio morning show about the golf season at the Humber Valley Resort. Earlier this year, Oke put a substantial amount of his own money into the River Course at the Humber Valley Resort and by all accounts, the course is in great shape.
