On Friday, I had the opportunity to golf on the River Course the Humber Valley Resort. The course is in great shape. My score was brutal but I really enjoyed myself a great deal. Golf with an awesome friend in the fall in the Humber Valley – what could be better?

The Model Forest of Newfoundland and Labrador is once again hosting the Forest Ecology Walking Tours in the Humber Valley- Bay of Islands region. Tours will focus on appreciating the biodiversity of the forest and learning about the many species of plants and animals present within it.

Yesterday, Gary Oke did an interview on the local CBC radio morning show about the golf season at the Humber Valley Resort. Earlier this year, Oke put a substantial amount of his own money into the River Course at the Humber Valley Resort and by all accounts, the course is in great shape.
