Caving In Corner Brook

by GK on August 18, 2009

This is a cool video of exploring a cave in Corner Brook.

Does anyone know where this cave is? If you know more about the caves in and around the Corner Brook area, please let me know. Thanks.

Hi Gary,
Cycle Solutions provides guided tours of the caves. I haven’t been myself, but have seen their location on a map, they’re along the upper part of the Corner Brook Stream. Last time I checked the Corner Brook Stream Trail didn’t go directly to them, but there are rough trails you can take from it that will branch to them.
My father went in one years ago and he tells me there’s at least one there that’s appropriate as a walk-in cave for kids. I’d love to bring my little scallywags up.

Gary- there is a short stretch of the caves that kids would enjoy, after that it gets quite narrow or wet, depending on the route you choose. take helmets and duck!

I heard rumors that there could be some new caving content down the road on newfoundlandlabrador.com. Looks really cool.
