The power of Flickr is amazing.
Some time ago, I wrote about Peter Brake and his Western Newfoundland Photos.
Peter takes some great photos of Corner Brook and the Humber Valley area.
Peter found my article yesterday and left a comment on the site. The interesting thing is my traffic spiked by the referral from Flickr.
As a result of other comments that were left on the site, I found two other great photographers who post their pictures on the popular photo sharing site.
Altamons’ photos and Turniposaurus’ photos.
Now as it turns out, you can look a profile on Flickr and view that persons contacts. It turns out, Peter Brake has listed Tony Seaward as one of his contacts on Flickr.
I know Tony and have referenced his photos on this site before.
It’s a small world.
You would be surprised how much traffic your site can get by mentioning someones photos from Flickr.
