A Halifax based toy company, The Orb Factory, has just received a Children’s Choice Award for one of their toys called the Sticky Mosaics® My Jungle Adventure.
Steven Kay, owner of Sticky Mosaics’ manufacturer Orb Factory, describes his product as a cross between paint-by-numbers and Lite-Brite.
When I lived in Halifax, I really liked to shop at Scholar’s Choice in the MicMac Mall. The store offered a wide range of toys for kids with an educational slant. The toys I have purchased there are often the most popular toys my kids play with.
Are there any stores in Newfoundland and Labrador that sell these sorts of toys? If you could let me know, I would appreciate it.
